World Water Day – 22nd March

Tue 21 March 2023 By Ian Dent

World Water Day – 22nd March

The 22nd March 2023 is World Water Day and has been selected to tie in with the UN Water Conference being held in New York on the 22-24th March.

The Day is about accelerating change to solve the water and sanitation crisis and asks for us all to make commitments to help meet the goals.

We’re privileged to have the Derwent Valley on our doorstep but many parts of the world are not so lucky. And, even in the beautiful Derwent Valley we could do with better quality water in the river.
