DVT Chair walks the Derwent Valley Heritage Way

Sat 12 December 2020 By Ian Dent

DVT Chair walks the Derwent Valley Heritage Way

In October, our chairman Derek Latham walked the full length of the Derwent Valley Heritage Way – yes, from Ladybower to Shardlow. His blog appears in the December edition of Derbyshire Life, with on-line version here. The walking route is similar to the planned cycle route, though more tolerant of hills. His well-illustrated account gives a beautiful  insight into the length of the river Derwent. Do enjoy reading this if you haven’t done so already!
