Pedal Peak Phase II consultation

Wed 10 September 2014 By Ian Dent Leave a Comment

The Peak Cycle links project to produce a circular route from Matlock through Bakewell and Buxton is currently in a consultation phase and your comments would be welcomed.

This route will complement the Derwent Valley Cycleway (DVC) and, by providing a link from the northern end of the DVC to the route around the Peak District, will provide opportunities for long distance cycle touring on off road routes from Derby and beyond.

Please review the plans here and add your views to the online consultation available here The successful implementation of the planned Peak Cycle links makes the argument for the Derwent Valley Cycleway that much stronger.
